Comprehensive Airport Bonded Zone's Phase I Science and Innovation Center nears completion
The International Science and Innovation Center, part of the Phase I development of Xiamen Comprehensive Airport Bonded Zone—a supporting project for Xiamen Xiang’an International Airport—is progressing smoothly. The main structure is set to be fully topped out by the first half of 2025, with the entire project scheduled for completion and handover in May 2026. Spanning a construction area of 74,000 square meters, the center comprises six buildings dedicated to commercial spaces, offices, technical service facilities, and industrial support infrastructure. Phase I of the bonded zone also includes the Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing Center and the International Logistics Center. Upon completion, the zone will integrate cutting-edge sectors such as bonded logistics for air cargo, cross-border e-commerce, and bonded R&D for technology, establishing a multi-dimensional aviation bonded services platform.
