Located at the southwest of Xiamen Island, Zhongshan Road was built in 1925 and is about 1.2 kilometers long. Since its establishment, Zhongshan Road has been the economic center of Xiamen and is the only commercial street facing the sea in China. Wandering around Zhongshan Road, you can see the window lattice models on the outside wall of the arcade zigzag distributing on both sides of Zhongshan Road. The pointed transom window, arched window and elegant edging decoration are full of the charm of European styless buildings. Nowdays, the old building and new decorations are still flourishing.
